How do I activate my Bellbrd personal safety alarm?
When you receive your Bellbrd it will come with operating instructions and a diagram of each of the buttons/features.
Bellbrd activates two ways:
- Pull the pin to trigger the 135dB alarm and flashing light.
- Hang it on a door handle β if it sways or falls, the alarm sounds automatically
This makes it ideal as a travel safety alarm, hotel room alarm, or renter-friendly home security option β no installation required.
Bellbrd only activates when the pin is pulled (no accidental presses), and includes a separate torch button for everyday use.
How do I deactivate my alarm?
To deactivate your Bellbrd personal alarm, simply push the pin back into place.
The latch fits snugly and clicks in with gentle pressure β easy to do in a hurry.
How loud is 135dB?
135dB is extremely loud β the Bellbrd personal alarm is one of the loudest legal alarms available in Australia.
To put it in context:
